Selena’s new film ‘Spring Breakers’ is getting rave reviews from an unexpected fan.
Selena Gomez stepped out of her Disney Channel mold when she took on her starring role in Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers.
As fans impatiently await their chance to see the film, it’s earning rave reviews from a surprising early screener — Robert Pattinson!
In a new interview with Premiere, Rob, 26, raved about the film! “Today I feel that the Hollywood industry has only one goal: to force you to make bad movies. The studio transforms everything it touches into a disaster. Thank God there is a group of directors who resist, they are forced to stand aside. It is a miracle that they can survive. I think of people like Harmony Korine that I think are incredible. He showed me his new film Spring Breakers this summer and I loved it.” He mentions that he expects the film to do very well once it opens. “I do not want to curse, but I think it will be a great success. And I want to work with directors like him, people who spend their lives refusing to accept certain things. If you look closely it is they who have the most enduring careers,” Rob says.
Spring Breakers is expected to be released in 2013, though there is no confirmed date.
